Service provided by Anmor Funerals (Pty) Ltd.

Includes:

  • Removal of the deceased from place of death. (Home, hospital or state mortuary)
  • Obtaining of death notice and registering the death at the Department of Home Affairs
  • Obtaining of the relevant schedules from hospitals and doctors to proceed with the cremation
    (Please note that additional fees may be payable as doctors ask different fees to complete the required schedules)
  • Storing and preparing of the body for cremation
  • Environmentally friendly cremation coffin
  • The cremation
  • An engraved wooden cremation urn when we return the ashes to the family

Families can view, wash and dress their loved one at our facility in Krugersdorp. An additional fee may be charged.

We assist and service the Gauteng area, which includes Greater Pretoria, Greater Johannesburg, West Rand and East Rand.

At Anmor Funerals, we understand the trauma involved with the loss of a loved one and also the fact that arrangements need to be made with the least amount of effort and discomfort. Therefore, most of the arrangements can be done telephonically and via e-mail. If the need does arise, families are welcome to visit our offices or we will meet them at home to finalise arrangements.

Please also note that we have our own mortuary with a legal and valid Certificate of Compliance, which is issued by the District Municipality. We also have four individuals working for the company who are registered with the Department of Home Affairs as funeral undertakers and who can submit paperwork on behalf of the families. This means that no family member needs to accompany us to go and register the death at any Home Affairs. We do all the paperwork.

Through Anmor Funerals we can also assist with the following:

  1. A traditional cremation service
    This is when the family wants a traditional memorial service at a venue of their choice (church or chapel or other venue), where your loved one is brought to the venue in a traditional casket or coffin. We assist with the arrangements, the booklets and the flowers. The memorial service takes place and after the service the cremation takes place.
  2. A traditional funeral service
    This is when the family wants a traditional memorial service at a venue of their choice (church or chapel or other venue), where your loved one is brought to the venue in a traditional casket or coffin. We assist with the arrangements, the booklets and the flowers. The memorial service takes place and after the service the family and friends, together with the funeral undertakers proceed to the cemetery for the burial of the deceased.
  3. A memorial service
    We assist with the arrangements of the memorial service at a venue of your choice. We help with the arrangements, booklets and flowers, but there is no coffin at the service. The cremation takes place before or after the service.
